At NexoraHost, DDoS protection is not an expensive addon – it's included as standard with almost all our products. We use Arbor Networks, one of the world's leading providers for DDoS mitigation, with a capacity of up to 1 Tbit/s.

What is a DDoS attack?

A DDoS attack (Distributed Denial of Service) floods your server with so many requests that it stops responding. For your visitors or players, the server then becomes unreachable. Such attacks can hit anyone – from small community servers to large online shops.

How Arbor protects

Arbor Networks analyzes incoming traffic in real time. Malicious traffic is detected and filtered out in our network before it reaches your server. Clean traffic continues uninterrupted. For you and your users, everything runs normally – you won't even notice the attack.

Up to 1 Tbit/s – what does that mean?

1 Tbit/s (terabit per second) is an enormous capacity. For comparison: Most DDoS attacks are in the range of 10-100 Gbit/s. Even large attacks of several hundred Gbit/s are reliably repelled. Your server stays reachable, even when other providers would have to shut down long ago.

Frequently asked questions

Will I notice the DDoS protection during normal operation?
No. Arbor works in the background and only intervenes when an attack is detected. Your server runs completely normally.
