GMod server lagging – most common cause?

Heavy workshop addons (Wiremod, PAC3, large maps), too many props, low RAM (8 GB+ recommended), bad Lua addons.

Which addon causes lag?

Remove addons one by one. gmod_tool duplicator with thousands of props is a common cause. Use cleanup addons or change map.

Small (10 players): 4–6 GB. Many addons: 8–12 GB. DarkRP/Starfall-heavy: 12–16 GB.
