Satisfactory server lagging – why?

Large factories with thousands of conveyors/machines, low RAM (8 GB+), all players in one base, outdated server after update.

Lag only in mega factory?

Normal in Satisfactory – entity load is extreme. Split factory, remove unused machines, RAM to 12–16 GB.

Early game: 6–8 GB. Late game / large bases: 12–16 GB+. More players = more RAM.

Quick answer: Satisfactory lag: increase RAM (12 GB+ late game), reduce factory size, update server and spread players across bases.
